The Whitney Point Board of Education has partnered with Broome-Tioga BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Rebecca Stone to lead the search for our next Superintendent of Schools.
As part of this important process, we invite our community, families, staff, and stakeholders to share their input as we begin this process.
This search follows the announcement that Superintendent Dr. Jo-Ann Sexton will retire effective June 30, 2026. We thank Dr. Sexton for her many years of dedicated service to our students, staff and Golden Eagles community.

A few important reminders:
- No school on Monday, January 19 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday
- No regular high school classes on January 20, 21, or 22 due to exams
- Regular classes at WP High School resume on Friday, January 23
