On February 12, Mr. Tom Tasber, Educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County and WP School Board member, gave a presentation to the TRA 4th graders about Animal Adaptations—a current science topic. Mr. Tasber also weaved in math concepts like symmetry, degrees and angles! The students especially enjoyed being able to touch the animals after the presentation and experience what feathers and fur on wild animals feels like!
