Four Whitney Point High School students hold their certificates for being selected Students of the Month for January 2026.

The district is proud to recognize four exceptional students who have been named Students of the Month in recognition of their outstanding achievements in academics, leadership and character. These students exemplify what it means to be positive role models in and out of the classroom, and we celebrate the dedication and effort they bring to our school community each day.

Anakin Dean, grade 9
Anakin is a respectful and conscientious student who consistently stays on task and gives his best effort. He comes to class prepared with all work completed, participates actively and is always willing to lend a helping hand to classmates. His responsibility and positive attitude make him a valued member of the classroom.

Dillion Carrow, grade 10
Dillion has demonstrated impressive growth in maturity, showing increased self-control and responsibility in his daily work. He is consistently helpful to both peers and teachers, contributing positively to group activities and supporting others whenever needed. His respectful attitude helps foster a welcoming and collaborative classroom environment.

Arieanna “Ari” Martin, grade 11
Ari is a hardworking and dependable student who approaches her studies with focus and determination. She arrives prepared, participates regularly and confidently shares her ideas, enriching class discussions. Known for her kindness, Ari often steps in to assist classmates, reflecting her strong work ethic and supportive nature.

Gianna Fleming, grade 12
Gianna sets high expectations for herself and continually goes above and beyond what is required. Her dedication to excellence is matched by her kindness and compassion. Courteous and caring, Gianna makes a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom.
