Mea received a Silver Key Award for her powerful charcoal portrait, “What Lies Within?” Arieanna earned an Honorable Mention for her ceramic piece, “ColorJoy of Chaos.” Both works were selected for display at the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira from January 25 through March 13, 2026, as part of the Regional Scholastic Art Awards exhibition.

The Scholastic Art Awards celebrate student creativity and artistic excellence across the region, making this recognition a significant achievement for both students. We are incredibly proud of Mea and Arieanna’s creativity, dedication, and artistic voice—and extend kudos to WPHS art educators Jessica Cortese and Will Manvell for their guidance and support in helping students reach this level of success.
