Whitney Point Student Athlete, Logan Griffith and Athletic Director, Murphee Hayes represented Section IV with other athletes from area school districts at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Student Athlete Leadership Conference in Albany, NY. The keynote speakers presented on various topics, such as, enhancing one’s personal growth to empower the leader within and becoming the best version of oneself to purposefully help and support others. Over two hundred student athletes and athletic directors across the state networked together, participated in leadership activities, asked questions, and shared ideas with the NYSPHSAA Executive and Assistant Directors. It was an amazing educational experience.
