CEA Food Drive Update: The CEA Food Drive (to benefit the Whitney Point Food Pantry) is in full swing! We are thankful for all of the donations that are coming in. There is one week left to contribute! See the graphic below for the grade/donation total update as of today. You can also refer to the photos below to see examples of what has been donated so far. Items can be dropped off to the CEA Main Office labeled with student name and teacher name.

High School and TRA-Make-up Picture Day is scheduled for 11/9/23. Caryl E Adams Primary School - Make-up Picture Day is scheduled for 11/8/23 from 9am to 10am in room 11. If your student was absent, newly enrolled, or not happy with their first picture we invite you to attend the picture make-up day. ** Elementary School Families - Please let your child's teacher know that you would like to participate in make-up day. ** Absentees & New Students • If you pre-ordered on the original session but your student was not photographed, the order will transfer to the makeup day session (no action needed). • New cash/check orders should be given to the photographer on picture day. (Order forms are available in the main office.) • Online orders may be placed after the personalized proof sheet has been received (approximately 2-3 weeks after picture day). The original picture day code is expired. Can't wait for the new proof sheet? 7-10 days after picture day visit our website at https://vando.imagequix.com/S9SRC9J and enter your student's personalized online code. (In most cases - The Personalized Online Code = X (the first letter of the school's name) + your students' school id number - example: X12345.) Retakes Anyone may be photographed on make-up day. In order to receive a new package, the entire original package (and envelope) needs to be returned to the photographer on picture day. We cannot exchange your order with the retake picture until the original order has been returned. Families that ordered a digital download only - We will see that a digital download was originally ordered, and a replacement download will be sent if a new photo is taken. It's helpful to the photographer if you include a note with the original pictures stating why you've requested a retake so that we can do our best to deliver a great school picture. Important note: the retake image will be used for the yearbook and or class pictures. Please direct any school picture questions to our customer service department at 855-773-3321. Please join us as Whitney Point Student Council presents Trunk or Treat on October 30th, 2023, rain or shine. This is a community event where public trunks are allowed; candy is provided through donations and parents must accompany their child. Candy donations can be dropped off to the high school main office and must be individually packaged. Animals are not permitted at trunk or treat. It's going to be SPOOKTACULAR!!

FEMA has scheduled a nationwide test of emergency alert systems for ~2:20 pm today, Wednesday, Oct 4th. Nationwide Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) test scheduled for October 4, 2023 1. On October 4, 2023, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) test. 2. The test includes sending a "test message" to all televisions, radios and cell phones. 3. At approximately 2:20 pm Eastern Standard Time, all powered on cellphones within range of a cell tower will receive a test alert message as part of FEMA’s nationwide test of its Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS). 4. The test will occur during school hours, and in some cases coincide with school dismissal time.
