Jo-Ann Sexton began her tenure as the Superintendent of the Whitney Point Central School District on July 1, 2021. Her career in the district spanned many years, starting as a school counselor for 17 years. She subsequently held a series of leadership roles, including Assistant Principal, Director of Special Services, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and ultimately Assistant Superintendent, before her current position.
Ms. Sexton holds a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University, a master’s degree from the State University College at Oneonta, and a doctoral degree from Binghamton University.
