Mrs. Pitcher-Boyea brings more than two decades of educational experience, including 17 years in leadership roles across school districts and BOCES. She currently serves as Assistant Superintendent at Peru Central School District, where she oversees curriculum, instruction, assessment, negotiations, budget development, human resources, and hiring processes.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Pitcher-Boyea has served in a variety of leadership positions, including Director of Instructional Support Services, Supervisor of Instructional Technology, Principal, Assistant Principal, and Supervisor of Special Education. She has extensive experience supporting rural school communities and building collaborative relationships.
During the search process, she demonstrated a strong commitment to student-centered leadership, communication, collaboration, and community engagement. Her experience leading instructional initiatives, supporting staff development, and aligning strategic priorities with district operations stood out throughout the process. The Board believes her leadership style and vision align closely with the priorities identified by our community.
