Enroll a Student in Whitney Point Schools

New York State requires that families be residents of the school district in which they wish to enroll their children. Parents should be prepared to show two forms of proof that support your residency in the Whitney Point Central School District.
Acceptable Documentation for Residency/Custody:
Residency (Select two)
  1. Pay stubs from parents or guardians
  2. Income tax forms
  3. Utility of other bills
  4. Membership documents, such as library cards or other documents issued based on residency
  5. Voter registration documents
  6. Official driver's license, learning permit or other government-issued identification
  7. Documents issued to the parents or guardians by federal, state or local government agencies
  8. Custody papers, such as judicial custody orders of guardianship papers

If Student is 18 or Older

  1. A copy of the student's Selective Service registration card
  2. A copy of the student's current driver's license, motor vehicle or motorcycle registration and insurance card

Custody Verification is Needed if Parents are Separated or Divorced (Select one)

  1. A copy of current Separation of Divorce Decree or Family Court Order defining custody arrangements for the child(ren)
  2. Copies of the parent/guardian's completed State and Federal Income Tax forms for the last three (3) years.  No income information is needed.
