Learning Support During Quarantine/Isolation

Attention all students and families! We were all hoping that the 2021-2022 School Year would no longer include short-term absences required by our local health department through COVID-19 quarantine and isolation orders. Unfortunately, this is still a part of our reality. To provide our students the most consistent experience possible during such absences, we have created the following process.

Students who are absent because of quarantine/isolation orders from the health department will:

  • Access their teacher(s)’ Google Classroom (grades 3-12) or See-Saw (grades PK-2)
  • Follow the learning plan for the day
  • Complete any required assignments
  • Log into the Academic Coach Session for their grade band  (Zoom Codes are available from their teachers or main office).
Academic Coach Sessions will be on Zoom and will run Monday through Friday for 40 minutes after school
CEA - 3:15- 3:55 pm
TRA & HS 2:10- 2:50 pm
In these sessions, students will meet with an academic coach for academic support. This support may include but is not limited to classwork review, assignment clarification, reteaching portions of previous lessons, collecting assignments, administering tests, and scoring presentations.  Students who check in to their Academic Coaching Session will be marked present for daily attendance on that day.
