Recently, a few of the Whitney Point FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) chapter members participated in the first-ever Virtual State
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America
Conference. High School senior Malcolm Johnson participated at the conference as the State President with five other students from across the state. Mrs. Godfrey, the TRA Home and Careers teacher, served as a trainer for Malcolm’s Executive Council with a friend and colleague from downstate.
We are so proud of Malcolm and his accomplishments during this difficult year, where he and his council navigated many changes and challenges, resulting in their planning of the first-ever virtual conference for NY FCCLA. As Malcolm’s term comes to an end, Eve Angelo’s term as Vice President of Parliamentary Procedure is just beginning. We are looking forward to the great things Eve and her council are planning for NY FCCLA.
