Class Advisor: Ms. Delgado
and GOWN INFORMATION
CAPS, GOWNS, and TASSELS should have been ordered in September. If you missed the order dates, you will need to call Josten’s using the number on the back of the order form or go to nygrad.com to order. Please do this ASAP as the price increases the longer you wait. Caps and gowns will not be handed out until sometime in late May. Please hang them up so they are not wrinkled.
The senior class fruit sale will take place from
October 12-26. All money raised through the class sale will go directly
into your student account.
Class account money may be used for a variety
of senior expenses. For example: cap and gown, yearbook, prom tickets,
senior class t-shirt, class ring, and the senior trip.
SENIOR TRIP INFORMATION -- Dates for the
trip: May 24-27, 2019
Senior class officers have chosen destination options for a senior trip. Travel agents have been contacted and we are awaiting proposal information. Once destinations are chosen, information will be sent home. Parents/guardians and students, please read the information carefully. Seniors: please familiarize yourselves with the choices. Voting on destinations will take place in senior government/economics classes. If you aren’t taking a government/economics class this Fall, please see Ms. Delgado. A senior trip payment guide will come out quickly after a destination is chosen and sign-ups will take place. Please be sure to adhere to the schedule.
GRADUATION – June 28, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Gymnasium
Graduation at WPHS is a very classy affair.
It is a long-standing tradition. Please work hard to keep it that
way. Seniors need to be here no later
than 6:30 PM that evening and must report directly to the cafeteria. We will start right away. Students will need graduation tickets.
Tickets are free. Each senior receives a set number of tickets.
Graduation last year was streamed live and was also broadcast into the
auditorium. We are hoping to do the same thing again this year.
Please contact Teresa Delgado via e-mail at email@example.com or by calling the school at 692-8201. E-mail is usually the better method, as phone calls interrupt teaching time.
