3 women Senior creates company with student team
Senior Natalie Leuci was part of a group of 11 area high school students who created and operated a successful company through the BOCES New Visions Business Academy program. Working with volunteer mentors from the local business community, the students created NVision, a company that sold greeting cards and a multi-purpose water bottle. The students secured investors and sponsors, planned the marketing strategy, managed inventory and tracked all finances.  In a few short months, they generated a net income of $4,426!  At a presentation given at the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator, the students liquidated their company and gave donations to several local charities.
