The athletic department would like to thank everyone for an amazing 2018 Homecoming Weekend. We greatly appreciate everyone attending at a neutral site. We would not have been able to celebrate without the great school spirit of the athletes, cheerleaders, band, color guard, homecoming court, coaches, band directors, student body, parents/guardians, alumni, community members, groundskeepers & custodians, bus drivers, event staff, resource officer, UHS physician and trainer, teachers, staff, administrators and Eagles Nest Boosters. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Chenango Valley School District for allowing Whitney Point to use their facilities.  Go Eagles! [...click for more]

Senior Danielle "Dani" Hartford owes her volleyball career to her orthopedic surgeon Dr. Micah Lissy of UHS Sports Medicine.  So it was only fitting that she invited him to attend her Senior Night game Oct. 10, which he happily did.  Dani injured her the meniscus cartilage while playing sports as a seventh-grader, had her meniscus removed and then reinjured her knee. A UHS athletic trainer suggested she see Dr. Lissy, who performed a breakthrough type of surgery - meniscal transplant - on Dani earlier this year. In nine short months, she's as good as new and back on the volleyball court! See Spectrum News coverage.
