Wow!  There are a lot of Alumni in our database!  Over 1500 to be exact!  In addition, the Whitney Point CSD has been trying to get an Alumni Association formed.  If you are interested in helping to get this started, please call the District Office at 607-692-8202.

Alumni News!

 

The Whitney Point Alumni Organization will host an Alumni Banquet on June 15, 2013.  The dinner is an excellent buffet in the Whitney Point High School cafeteria.  People start gathering at 6:00 to enjoy appetizers and conversation.  The banquet begins at 6:30.  After dinner there will be a program of highlights from the recent community musical, "South Pacific," followed by the presentation of the Hall of Fame Inductees.  This year we are honoring Daniel Driscoll, Marvin and Alice Gregg, Chad Orzel, Barbara Quarella, and Iva Jean (Marsh) Tennant.  Hope to see you there!  For your convenience, a reservation form is attached.

 

We have established the Whitney Point Alumni Association Scholarship Fund!  The Whitney Point Alumni Association will award a scholarship of $1,000 to a graduating senior who is planning to pursue their education at an accredited college or university, recognized specialized trade school, or through a branch of the United States armed forces.  The scholarship application is attached.  If you have an interest in supporting the scholarship fund, a donation form is also attached.  Thank you to all who have donated.

 

The next planning meetings are in the High School Library on May 20 and June 10.  New planning committee members will be welcomed!  All are welcome to attend and participate in any of the meetings.
