young students sitting in front of items they collected to donate to shelter Global Citizenship begins early
Some of our first-grade classes did some brainstorming as they ended their unit on Global Citizenship, to come up with ways to be global citizens and help others.  As a result, the teachers contacted a local shelter to find out what items were needed, and the students then collected those items.  A total of 295 items such as hats, scarves, socks, gloves and personal hygiene products were collected and will be donated to the shelter!
